Description	Job Description Job Title: Reporter Job Location: Accra Employment Type: Permanent Report To: Editor Industry: Media Job Brief The position requires a passionate and energetic Reporter to join our media team. The position holder will be responsible for delivering fresh and interesting news to our audience. Reporter Responsibilities Keep up with all the local and global happenings Cover a wide variety of stories Conduct and schedule interviews Plan, edit, and write stories and articles for publication Verify information provided by interviewees. Finalize news content Follow news events and other media sources to stay informed. Required Skills or Experience Required Skills or Experience Must have: A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in the industry Great interpersonal skills Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining calmness under pressure Proven customer support experience Track record of achieving targets Strong phone handling skills and active listening Familiar with “Airwatch” systems and practices Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively High level of honesty and integrity. Qualifications A degree in Journalism or any related field required .
