CANADIAN FEED THE CHILDREN (CFTC) IN COLLABORATION WITH THE GHANA METEOROLOGICAL AGENCY (GMET)

NATIONAL COMPETITIVE TENDERING (NCT)



 



SUPPLY, TRAINING AND INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATIC WEATHER STATIONS. IFT No.: ML-0047



Canadian Feed The Children (CFTC) has received a grant from African Development Bank (AfDB), (acting as an administrator for the CLIMDEV – Africa Special Fund) to finance the Climate Information Made Available to Entrepreneurial Farmers and intends to apply part of the grant to cover purchase and installation of automatic weather stations in the project area; Kasena Nankana District, Sissala East District and Savelugu Municipality.





2. The Canadian Feed The Children (CFTC) invites sealed tenders from eligible suppliers with the following valid documents:




  1. Certificate of Registration within the Republic of Ghana,

  2. Certificate of Registration to Commence Business within the Republic of Ghana,

  3. Certificate of Registration as per the Income Tax Act of Ghana,

  4. Value Added Tax (VAT) Certificate

  5. SSNIT Certificate and

  6. PPA Certificates

  7. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, Act 663, 2003 as amended Act 914, 2016 and the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.



3. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet), Procurement Unit and inspect the tender document at the address and location below between 9:00am to 4:00pm local time from Tuesday May 25, 2021.



4. A complete set of Tender document in English may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address I below and upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢200) only. The document will be obtained personally and with a written application letter.




5. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the deadline of Tender submission. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security as indicated in the above table. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ Representatives who choose to attend at the Conference Room of the Ghana Meteorological Agency at 12.00 pm. local time on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
