Job Description


SCOPE OF WORK 



  • Assignment Title:  Voiceover Consultant

As the Peace through Evaluation, Learning and Adapting (PELA) award recipient, IBTCI implements the four-year Task Order (TO) (January 31, 2018, to March 29, 2022), providing technical services to enhance USAID/West Africa’s (WA’s) effectiveness in countering violent extremism (CVE) and in promoting peace and non-violent conflict management in the West Africa region. PELA also works to strengthen USAID/WA’s effectiveness in implementing its projects; coordinating its activities; learning from its experiences; and serving as an information, communication, and thought leader regarding peace promotion and CVE in West Africa.


 


PELA is based in Accra, Ghana, but provides support across the region where USAID/WA’s programs are implemented, including in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Mali, Niger, and Mauritania.


 


Objective and Task Summary


PELA is producing a CVE Webcast narration in English and needs the services of a Voiceover Consultant to narrate the approximate 100-slide PowerPoint script in English with an approximate narration time of 75 minutes. 


 


Deliverable 


Professional-level voiceover in English of the Webcast PowerPoint script.  


 


Procurement Cost


Provide cost per minute of the final, accepted recording, which will be approximately 75 minutes in total narration time. Note: studio time recording the Webcast is not an allowable cost. Also note: IBTCI will pay for the cost to rent the sound studio for the actual recording, so do not include this cost.


 


Time Line 


The expected period of performance: Month of June 2021 (tentative)


 


Payment Schedule 


Payment will be made upon IBTCI acceptance of the final narration and no later than thirty days of the received invoice once the narration is approved. 



Required Skills or Experience



  • Demonstrated ability to clearly narrate the PowerPoint script in English using a professional narration style.  

  • Professional experience recording voiceovers.

  • Audition as a selection requirement by providing a sample voice recording (narrating five of the Webcast slides). 

  • Ability to travel to a sound studio in Accra to record the Webcast.
