Position: Coordinator, Sales & Marketing-Temp (6 Months)
Department: Sales & Marketing
Direct Report: Sales & Marketing Manager
Salary: Ghs 2,000.00/Monthly



Job Responsibilities




  • Plan effective marketing campaigns and brand positioning strategies

  • To help organize, promote and attend corporate training events in the region and assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with a variety of other sales and marketing related issues.

  • Develop and assist in the production of all marketing materials, including literature. Support the administrative process in the execution of product launches.

  • Work with Agencies/suppliers to deliver timeous collateral

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.

  • Champions BTL activations by identifying, establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments and coordinating to ensure brilliant execution.

  • Participates in creating brand awareness through advertising and social media management

  • To support all Members in the Ghanaian market and assist in building a strong sales force and contribute to the growth of the Company's business.

  • Prepares status reports on marketing efforts by collaborating with sales and marketing manager.

  • Responsible for all digital platforms ensuring up to date marketing collaterals and regular update.

  • Organize and attend 95% of corporate events in country while supporting members with the needed tools to run their own events.

  • Build and manage relationships with mid member leadership (GET 2500, GET team and WT) and support them with insight and business building ideas.

  • Support sales staff and members with data analysis and assist member with deep dive business information in marketing, new trends and usage of informatics for business development.

  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service that will delight members.

  • Seek for timely opportunities for business development while keeping track of competitor activities and reporting same.

  • Constantly update knowledge in new sales and marketing trends

  • The sales and marketing coordinator will be expected to drive sales communication and events with the responsibility of ensuring that our members are given up to date communications that would improve their business and be well informed about new happenings in EMEA

Required Skills or Experience



Education / Experience




  • A good business-related first degree

  • 3 years’ experience in a marketing-type environment highly desirable.

  • Commercial experience displaying proof of strong organizational skills

  • PC experience essentials (Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel & PowerPoint - minimum requirement)

  • Basic budget preparation, converting sales data into graphical format for reports, etc


Skills




  • Fluent in English (additional languages desirable)

  • Confident & personable with good interpersonal skills. Very customer service orientated.

  • Willing to interact with key distributors on Sales and Marketing issues with sensitivity to cultural diversity.

  • Must be able to produce results under pressure within a fast-moving environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Able to work as part of an international team but also independently when Manager is out of the office

  • Able to set own priorities & take the initiative with attention to detail and focus on important issues

  • Strong administrative & organizational skills

  • Good PC skills (Microsoft Word for Windows & Excel – minimum requirements)

  • Ability to work within authorized budgets

  • Must be prepared to travel throughout Ghana and will therefore need to be flexible in terms of working hours, which will include some evenings and weekends.
