Vacancy: IT Sales/Operations Manager

The Position

In this critical role, the Operations Manager will be a revenue generator, problem solver, advocate of quality and deliverer of consistency. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of teams within the Company. He / She will ensure the efficient use of resources for profitable, consistent and quality results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct day-to-day activities of the organization


• Oversee revenue generation and ensure consistent client satisfaction


• Ensure high quality service delivery by managing the development team


• Develop policies to promote effective sales, IT development and internal operations


• Set realistic budgetary expectations and ensure transparent operations

Required Skills or Experience

Skills

• Team leadership in a start-up environment


• High level of autonomy, innovation and independent work


• Good knowledge of Ghana’s IT market including competitor practices and customer demands


• Good communicator, team leader and motivator in a business environment


• Pays attention to details and has excellent reporting skills

Qualification and experience

• At least a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience


• Fluency in English, both written and spoken


• 4+ years leadership experience in a start-up environment


• 5+ years of experience in the Ghanaian IT sector including in sales and technical development
