Job Overview

Our Client is looking for a driven, proactive, hands-on and experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.


• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.


• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.


• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.


• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.


• Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.


• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.


• Negotiating the terms of business deals and moves with clients and associated organisations


• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.


• Secures financial information by completing database backups.


• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Compensation: An attractive package, dependent on experience, skills and qualifications

Required Skills or Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance


2. 4-8 years’ experience in accounting/finance


3. CPA or CMA  preferred


4. Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas


5. Experience with financial reporting requirements


6. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables


7. Accuracy and attention to detail and Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
