Description	Job Description Job Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Agricultural Project manager to join manage a fast growing, agricultural project investment and development team. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to take the lead on the management of the companies crop demonstration fields and support the management of the company’s new and existing investments by providing agronomic advice to farmers and other agribusiness. Specific responsibilities Management of a variety of out grower projects. Demonstrate new and existing crop varieties using commercial input packages to different interested parties, including farmers, processors, commodity buyers, and NGO and government representatives. Responsible for developing and managing key relationships in the country, including with project sponsors, entrepreneurs, contractors and government stakeholders. Develop, present, and implement the strategic vision, goals, and objectives of the program in line with the overall strategy and objectives Collect and analyze data. Take overall accountability for delivery of program outputs and objectives against targets Identify crop varieties with commercial potential and encourage adoption by local farmers. Assist in the process of variety registration of newly demonstrated varieties in Ghana. Collect data and analyse results and prepare reports for wide circulation to all interested parties Manage junior Agronomists, contracted labour and other third-party providers of equipment, products and services. Evaluate current practices and identify/propose improvement paths Provide technical advice to the company’s Ghana’s entire portfolio of projects Compensation: An attractive package, dependent on experience, skills and qualifications Required Skills or Experience Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field 5- 8 years proven Agronomy experience 4- 6 years proven Agriculture Project Management experience Excellent analytical skills with ability to undertake in-field work.
