Job Description

An Organization (Client) seeks the services of competent and experienced individuals for the following position:

Job Title:              Project Manager (Building Construction)

Job Location:          Kwahu-Eastern Region

Employment Type:   Fixed Term (12 months non-renewable contract)

Service Fee:           Contract amount based on deliverables.

Report to:             Project Director

Number of available vacancies: 15

Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible to manage and deliver specific assigned projects within the contract period.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned projects from beginning to end.


• Manage every aspect of the development of the project.


• Manage each phase of the building project including contracting, construction, stores management, store turnover and project close out.


• Plan, schedule and implement project timelines.


• Ensure quality control and assurance.


• Present reports on project progress, problems, and solutions.


• Alert team of lost or missing material items; monitor and drive work related issues for timely resolution.


• Follow policies and work instructions applicable to the assign role.


• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, sub-contractors, architects etc to determine the specifications of the project.

• Supervise and manage labour on site by overseeing payment approval, work approval and material approval.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification/Requirement

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or any related field.


• A minimum of 4years of relevant working experience in Construction (Building),Project Management, Engineering, or any related field.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.


• Excellent team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
