SITE ENGINEER(ELECTRICAL)

Our client, a Mechanical and Electrical Service (MEP) company is looking to hire a proactive Site Engineer to help with their operations in Ghana.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will  perform the duties of an electrician at Level 5 is a technical role which involves surveying and setting out levels of a site to enable accurate production of the electrical lines on site. As a site engineer, your input to construction projects will be technical, organisational and supervisory.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to manage any project size.


• Able to interface with client building contractor etc.


• Manage safety of equipment and plant.


• Supervise electrical testing.


• Mark installed drawing fuse board charts etc.


• Report changes, variations and site changes to project manager.


• Maintain an organized site office including paperwork.


• Be involved in material delivery including medium term planning.


• Ordering of needed materials through the project manager.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field preferred


• Minimum 3 years of experience in workplace environmental, health and safety program management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of all tools and materials relevant to the Electrical trade.                                                                        


• Knowledge of British Standard Electrical Regulations.


• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.                                   


• Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD


• Knowledge of project management principles.
