Total Family Health Organisation (TFHO) is an indigenous Ghanaian social marketing organization duly registered in accordance with the laws of Ghana on February 1, 2017. We partner with government, private sector, and civil society is to improve the health of people living in Ghana primarily through implementation of innovative evidence-based interventions that increases access to and utilization of health products and services in a measurable and impactful way. Our key intervention areas include: Reproductive (including family planning and HIV), Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH), communicable and non-communicable diseases, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), nutrition, and malaria. Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) and social marketing remains our unique expertise. We utilize our deep insight and skills in SBCC and social marketing to promote positive social and behavior change among individuals and communities using strategies that address the interests of the people we are trying to reach, the obstacles to change and the many forces that influence behavior and choice.

Job Description


JOB SPECIFICATION




Sales Management




  • Maintain contact with all distribution partners and report to management on market trends, competition, sales opportunities, and other areas of concern.

  • Maintain contact with all institutional sales partners and oversee their maintenance and business growth.

  • Ensure customers respect credit terms and timely payment of purchased goods.

  • Verify delivery of customers order and maintain customer record.

  • Collaborate with Research, Monitoring and Evaluation team in market surveys, product reseacrh and other relevant activities.

  • Develop and implement strategies, in collaboration with relevant actors, for more effective sales to achieve sales objectives.  

  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on products and services.

  • Identifies opportunities for product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competition.

  • Prepares reports sales reports as required to inform decision making and measuring impact.





  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards for all clients of the organization products.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.




  • Support in Managing the commercial sales and distribution activities of the organisation.

  • Support in the recruiting and managing the day-to-day relationship with commercial distributors.

  • Maximize financial sustainability by periodically recommending reviewing and updating pricing strategy and implementing approved pricing strategies.

  • Work closely with Finance Department to design and maintain accurate sales accounting systems to track program income and credit collection.

  • Maintain sales, receivables, and customers account balances.



STAKEHOLDER RESULTS:




  • Build and maintain healthy pipeline of sales distributors, clients, and business partners.

Required Skills or Experience


QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or relevant field is required.

  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of related work experience

  • Experience in both NGO or donor funded setting is a plus



Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & BEHAVIOUR

  • Working knowledge of TFHO policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Working knowledge of the local terrain within which you operate.

  • Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Planner, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive & SharePoint)

  • Customer Service  - role requires being able to quickly adjust to the personality of guests and clients

  • Information Gathering & Monitoring – role requires data collection to make informed decisions.

  • Adaptability – ability to anticipate and respond swiftly to changing dynamics within the office setting.

  •  Negotiation – role requires good negotiation skills
