Job Description



  • Design marketing materials and advertisements to support both all operational, publicity and promotional activities of business when not otherwise allocated to an external agency

  • Research and monitor industry and competitor activities so that market opportunities can be identified and acted upon appropriately.

  • Work directly with vendors to obtain bids and complete the fulfillment of marketing/ communications related materials.

  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials and ensures branches and partners have what they needtimeously.

  • Support management in the formulation and execution of the annual strategic marketing and communication plan.

  • Responsible for ensuring all marketing and communications materials comply with the Company’s brand guidelines. 

  • Organizes all product/service (Internal and External) launch activities in the company

  • Coordinates with business development unit to develop and implement promotional



activities to meet operational targets




  • Use the appropriate marketing tool(s) to determine, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of various advertising channels of the Company. 

  • Actively work with the Business Development Unit to determine the marketing and communication needs of products.

  • Act as corporate communications and marketing representative for industry and 



          association programmes.




  • Manages internal and external company events – coordinating complete organisation of such events. 

  • Create and edits copy for communications that include newsletters, press releases, event materials, flyers, brochures and other items that represent People’s Pension. 

  • Coordinate all company events and related programs and conferences and create content, media, presentations, etc. to be utilized in gaining visibility prior to and during these events.

  • Proofread all appropriate printed pieces and ensure that marketing materials are accurate and comply with the brand guidelines

  • Manage consistency of the company brand across all platforms in the country

  • Build and maintain an up-to-date photo, video and audio library of all events.




Required Skills or Experience


Minimum required education level:



Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Digital Marketing etc. Relevant professional qualification in CIM, Accreditation in Public Relations will be an added advantage.



Proficiency in use of general Microsoft office ensuite is important. Familiarity with branding,



marketing and communication theories and concept is essential. Experience with media relations is desirable.



Required experience 



Minimum of six years relevant experience of which at least three should have been in a supervisory to middle management role in marketing communications, public relations and branding.



Good understanding of the Pension landscape establishment will be an advantage.
