Job Description


In this role, you will be reporting to the Manager – Children in the Family (CIF), and your responsibilities are:




  • To lead the team at the center to ensure that the goals for the center are reached.

  • To assess, counsel, and offer advice to clients, coordinate all activities at the center, arranging appropriate care, resources, or benefits for clients.

  • Liaise with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals to find appropriate interventions for clients.

  • Work with various stakeholders within and outside of the communities to bring appropriate intervention to clients.

  • Ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively to provide general services to children and their families.




Required Skills or Experience



  • Minimum Degree in Social Work, Sociology, and or Population and Family Life Education.

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience with children in a social organization.

  • Proficient knowledge of general IT systems and applications including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Excellent organizational skills, friendly and approachable.

  • High accuracy and quality-focused mindset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to engage and liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders to build trusted relationships.

  • Ability to prioritize a demanding workload, multi-tasking, and work autonomously.

  • Deep knowledge of the phenomenon of street children.

  • Cultural sensitivity skills: The ability to work alongside people with different cultural attitudes and behaviors and the ability to manage diversity in a socio-cultural context.

  • Ability to reflect and have problem-solving skills.

  • Good at building relationships and bonding with children and family.

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in the communities to meet the needs of the client (Children and their families).

  • Knowledge in basic research and understanding the logical framework is an advantage.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to plan and to be proactive in the discharge of duties
