WHOLESALE / RETAIL MANAGER



LOCATION: Accra



CATEGORY: Sales and Marketing



Our client, an FMCG company is currently looking for a highly efficient and proactive Wholesale/Retail Manager to help with their operations.



ROLE PROFILE



The successful candidate will manage the sales of all products in an effective way to meet sales targets and establish strong relationships with Clients in order to drive continuous coverage maximization.



 



DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Issue the sale of all products by the designated brands.

  • Manage and increase clientele and SKU line-up.

  • Call on prospective customers in order to explain company services and to solicit



new business.




  • Ensure strong relations with clients and in coordinating sales.

  • Increase coverage and sales in designated areas.

  • Visit potential customers for new business.

  • Gather market & customer information, and provide feedback on buying trends.

  • Work within timelines and meet deadlines.

  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies.

  • Follow up on sales activity by responding to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.

  • Make payments and organize checks with accounts.

  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.

  • Ensure that aging and debtors list is at healthy level at all times (35 days).

  • Send pro-forma invoices to clients.

  • Provide account reconciliation.

  • Coordinate with logistics departments.

  • Identify potential clients.

  • Any other duties as required to fulfill the Company needs.




Required Skills or Experience


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelors Degree in any discipline course

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the sale of electronic appliances or similar role.

  • An experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.



 



 



REQUIREMENTS




  • Must Have Knowledge in Appliances (Air-conditioners, Fridges, Freezers, Cookers etc).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to manage a team and work well under pressure.

  • Strong organization & administrative skills.

  • Enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated.

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Willingness to adapt & take on new challenges, and must be driven to continually improve.

  • Proficient in analyzing numbers and providing accurate feedback.
