Vacancy: Oil Mill Operator

Job Description

The position report to the Production Supervisor and the responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

• Carry out daily inspection, lubrication, cleaning of equipment and monitoring and recording of recording devices (temperature and pressures gauges, etc.);


• Operations of equipment as prescribed standard operation procedure;


• Assign maintenance responsibilities as and when necessary;


• Train upcoming operator;


• Ensure team members work strictly under the standard operating procedure and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) prescribed for the working environment or task(s) assigned;


• Oil palm fruits are processed under specific standards; 


• Coordinate with other production sections (Ramp, Sterilisation, Pressing, etc.); 


• Submit daily log sheets on machine operations; and


• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

The successful applicant must possess MET/EET III or its equivalent with 5 years professional work experience in Palm Oil Processing Mill with at least 3 years recent experience in a similar role at various stations of sterilization, Pressing station, clarification and Kernel recovery will be considered
