Job summary 



To plan, organize and monitoring financial line(s) in AMO Programme to ensure that financial accounting goes efficiently on time, within budget and to standard



Duties on Finances




  • Preparing Finance Reports and Accounts Reconciliation reports according to company policies on periodic basis

  • Preparing Tax documents for timely filing of Company tax

  • Supporting the Annual Financial audit processes through the preparation of standard reports

  • Administering all Payroll activities

  • Maintaining all financial records and files as per the company policies

  • Streamlining processes and procedures for improving operational efficiency of finance reporting and budgeting systems

  • Improving the financial controls within the organization

  • Submitting and reconciling expense reports on projects

  • Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies

  • Maintaining up-to-date employee holiday records



Duties on Administration




  • Carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, mailing, scanning

  • Administrating the several contact lists of AMO Programme and update them

  • Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments

  • Producing and distributing correspondence memos, letters, notes, mails and forms

  • Assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

  • Developing and maintaining a filing system

  • Receiving visitors and giving them general support

  • Researching for and creating presentations

  • Ensuring operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques

  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Organize travel arrangements for senior managers

  • Writing letters and emails on behalf of other Senior Staff

  • Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner

  • Taking accurate minutes of meetings

  • Managing staff appointments when necessary




Required Skills or Experience



  • Previous working experience as Financial Administrator for minimum 2- 3 years

  • Professional Accounting qualification or pursuing professional accounting course will be an added advantage

  • Administrative skills and experience will be an advantage

  • Multitasker and critical thinker with strong analytical skills for booming company

  • Excellent pro-active attitude

  • Hands on mentality and no ‘sitting in office’ behaviour

  • Experience in working in Education

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
