Vacancy: Quantity Surveyors -Roads/Buildings

Job Description

A reputable construction firm in Ghana seeks the services of various professionals in the construction industry as Quantity Surveyors - Roads/Buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Estimating the material resource requirements for the works


• Preparation of monthly valuation of works done


• Assist the project manager in daily, weekly and monthly progress report preparation


• Undertaking cost control activities on the project.


• Ensuring that all variation orders and site instructions are well booked, costed and approved


• Site measurements of work in progress


• Management of subcontract accounts


• Measurement of subcontract works and recommending payments to head office


• Raising of claims and ensure proper contract management of assigned project/s

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of first degree in Quantity Surveying/Building Technology/Construction management or related field with minimum of 7 years' experience or HND with 15 years experience


• Excellent communications skills.
