Vacancy: Maintenance Technician (1 - mechanical & 1 - electrical)

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment when required.


• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of Machine equipment during production


• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs for Machine equipment during machine service.


• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.


• Perform mechanic duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.


• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.


• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments when required.


• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.


• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations for proper supervision.

Salary: GHC1,600 and above depending on experience

Required Skills or Experience

• Applicants must have at least HND or related educational background in the related field.


• Applicants must have at least 2 years demonstrable work experience in similar role in a plastic manufacturing company.


• Applicants must have the technical skills related to the job.


• Applicants must have good interpersonal skills, attention to details, hardworking, problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
