Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing and scheduling production meetings with factory manager and supervisors to discuss daily progress of production.


• Assessing resource requirement for production of goods.


• Supervising production processes and procedures.


• Assisting the factory manager to select order and purchase raw materials for production in the factory.


• Ensuring proper maintenance and handling of equipment and machines in the factory.


• Engage in hiring and staffing of personnel in the production unit.


• Ensuring that production targets are met at optimum levels.


• Coordinating with the HR Department to provide training for operators, supervisors and production assistants for maximum production and target achievements.


• Develop production schedules and duty assignments for all personnel in your department.


• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and general housekeeping.


• Report to management on all production activities.

Salary: GHC1,600 and above depending on experience

Required Skills or Experience

• Applicants must have at least HND or related educational background in the related field.


• Applicants must have at least 2 years demonstrable work experience in similar role in a plastic manufacturing company.


• Applicants must have the technical skills related to the job.


• Applicants must have good interpersonal skills, attention to details, hardworking, problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
