Coordination of activities of suppliers and all stakeholders involved in purchasing of materials, products, and services by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials and services to various departments and also prepare comprehensive periodic purchasing reports to the attention of Management.


Main Accountabilities

  • Plan in collaboration with concerned functional heads for the procurement of all goods and services including but not limited to machinery, equipment, spare parts, stationery and other sundry supplies for the company

  • Identify and maintain right vendors and service providers for continuous supply

  • Negotiate with suppliers on prices, credit terms, discounts, etc. and arrange delivery schedules

  • Negotiate contracts and keep costs within budgetary limitation.

  • Ensure timely payment to suppliers.

  • Ensure Weekly/monthly reports are submitted /presented to internal and external Management.

  • Ensure Purchasing and Sales statistics are well maintained.

Required Skills or Experience


  • Minimum of First Degree in Purchasing and Supply or Equivalent.


  •  Minimum of 3 years demonstrable working experience in a similar function.

  • Negotiation skills

  • Computer Skills ( especially spreadsheets and databases)

  • Good planning and organisational skills 

  • Good spoken and written communication skills

  • Good problem-solving and maths skills

  • Knowlege in SAP ERP is an added advantage

  • Basic knowledge in French is an added advantage
