Roles and Responsibilities




  • The Human Resource Manager (HRM) in this luxury property development company is to oversee and manage various aspects of the company’s human resources, ensuring that the organization has a capable and motivated workforce to achieve its objectives. The specific responsibilities and duties include:

  • Responsible for attracting, recruiting, staffing and onboarding key roles including property advisors, property managers, administrative staff, customer service staff and other roles;

  • Develop a comprehensive training strategy and plan for implementation for upskilling that ensure that employees receive the necessary training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge,

  • Implement performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance, set goals in determining salary increases and bonuses based on performance evaluations by management and provide feedback to help individuals improve excellently;

  • Develop and implement as well as update existing policies in line with industry best practices and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with local and international labour laws and regulations. In doing so, keep the company compliant with legal requirements related to employment, safety, and employee rights;

  • Develop and oversee employee benefits packages, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, leaves, and pensions, among others;

  • Develop a comprehensive grievance and disciplinary plan to oversee conflict resolutions and general disciplinary actions that lead to a positive and respectful work environment;

  • Improve employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as develop strategies to retain valuable employees within the company;

  • Play a key role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for all staff.




Required Skills or Experience



  • A Master’s degree in human resources management (HRM), business administration, management, psychology, or a related field.

  • A proven track record of career progression in HRM practice, three (3) of which must be at the senior management level.

  • Proven knowledge of labour laws, rights, contract law, and other related legal aspects pertaining to the property sector.

  • A Member of a recognized HR Professional Association.

  • KEY QUALITIES

  • The successful candidate must demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Maturity in dealing with and managing a diverse workforce;

  • Ability to adapt to the fast-changing property business needs and requirements;

  • Unique problem-solving and decision-making skills with the capability of analyzing situations

  • and making informed decisions.

  • Have industry knowledge of the property/ real estate business to understand the unique aspects

  • and challenges of the business in tailoring HR strategies for implementation.
