Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead our school in its mission to provide an exceptional learning environment for our students. As the Principal, you will be responsible for guiding our educational community, managing school operations, and inspiring a team of dedicated educators to ensure the holistic growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to promote the school's vision, mission, and values.


• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages academic excellence and personal growth.


• Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.


• Oversee curriculum development and implementation, ensuring alignment with national education standards and best practices.


• Establish effective communication channels with parents, students, staff, and other stakeholders.


• Collaborate with the school board, parents, and community members to enhance school programs and resources.


• Monitor student progress and implement interventions to address academic or behavioral challenges.


• Manage school budgets, resources, and facilities efficiently.


• Ensure compliance with all government regulations and policies related to education.


• Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to enrich students' learning experiences.


• Promote a safe and secure environment for all members of the school community.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).


• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Principal or in a leadership role in an educational institution.


• Strong knowledge of the Ghanaian educational system, curriculum, and regulations.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.


• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.


• Visionary leadership with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.


• Sound understanding of educational technology and its integration into teaching practices.


• Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a student-centered approach.


• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
