PURPOSE OF THE JOB 


To generate revenues for the company through recurring and new business opportunities with a particular focus on securing and managing business opportunities, set out short and long-term strategies for business expansion with effective achievements. The Sales Manager will drive the organization in income generation from the commercial sector. He/she will generate income and work across the organization to manage delivery of commercial benefits.


 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • To manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve short-term and long-term success.

  • To develop a positive relationships and handling customers’ needs.

  • The Sales Manager also acts as Account Manager for designated Accounts.

  • To conduct research and analysis potential prospects

  • Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow-up calls/meetings

  • RFQ Hunting

  • RFx Pre-sales team lead

  • Country Sales KPI forecast

  • Country Sales KPI follow-up

  • Legal Customer Contract Implementation

  • Research customer needs and requirements; implement new ideas/strategies to generate interest in sales

  • Cross countries coordination

  • Compiling and analyzing sales figures

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans

  • Business Development

  • Prepare and update the Company profile

  • Meet and strive to exceed sales targets

  • Cross coordination among company departments

  • Cross coordination among NETIS sales organizations in different countries (both French and English speaking).

  • Accurate reporting



OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the Key account team

  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

  • Take personal responsibility for your Health and Safety and others within the company;

  • Ensure not to put other people, fellow employees and members of the public at risk by what you do or do not do in the course of your work.

  • Participate in inspections and investigations of accidents;

  • At all-time wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed or required;

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments within their respective zones or areas of responsibility.

  • Ensure compliance with Lifesaving rules (LSR) and other safety protocols on the ground.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to field technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety guidelines and best practices.

  • Monitor and assess safety performance in the field, identifying potential hazards and implementing control measures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety initiatives and improve safety culture in the field.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety standards and LSR.

  • Provide timely feedback and coaching to field technicians to improve their safety awareness and performance.

  • Enforce compliance with Lifesaving rules and safety protocols on the ground.

  • Allocate resources and prioritize safety initiatives within their zones.

  • Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance and identify corrective actions.

  • Apply the stop work authority in case of non-compliance with the Lifesaving rules.




SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • An interface between Management and clients

  • Responsible for Key Accounts Managers




GENERAL DUTIES



  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

  • Completion of risk assessments within their zones or areas of responsibility.

  • Adherence to Lifesaving rules and safety protocols in the field.

  • Reduction in incidents and accidents within their zones.

  • Implementation of control measures to mitigate identified risks.

  • Regular inspections and audits conducted to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Timely resolution of safety-related issues in the field.

  • Positive feedback from field technicians regarding leadership and safety support.

  • Continuous improvement in safety performance indicators within their zones.




Required Skills or Experience


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or any equivalent qualification.

  • An MBA accredited will be an added advantage.

  • Fluent in both English and French will be an added advantage.



EXPERIENCE



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Sales role.

  • Proven track record within a sales environment



KNOWLEDGE



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Efficient in using Microsoft office and computer applications. Able to report his work actions and progress with Windows suite format (excel, power-point, word)

  • Knowledge of the tender preparation process and sales life cycle.
