Job Description

• Department: Production


• Reports Directly To: Supervisor - Production Retail


• Directly Supervises: Production Retail Staff


• Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R

Job Purpose

To coordinate and control the production processes during designated shift to ensure the efficient processing of fruits in their right quantity, quality and cost.

Duties

Supervision of production activities during designated shift

• Plan and lead workforce for production and processing


• Ensure production and processing is done according to specifications.


• Coach new and existing employees


• Investigate and report all incidents (absence, accidents, lateness, poor performance)


• Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees during designated shift


• Carry out start up procedure.


• Fulfil targets regarding worker productivity and raw material extraction

Recordkeeping & Work Preparation

• Maintain accurate, up to date records on Processing, Extraction, stocks and Cleaning.


• Ensure that materials for production are cleaned and controlled:


• Raw material


• Crates / Trays / Bins


• Processing Machines

Hygiene, Health, Safety and Security

• Ensure security of facilities during designated shift hours.


• Enforce all safety and processing procedures.


• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe workplace.

Required Skills or Experience

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a science related field.


• Minimum of 6 months work experience, preferably in a food production environment.


• Ability to plan and organize work.


• Ability to deliver work to tight deadlines.


• Ability to relate effectively to people/department at all levels.
