Vacancy: ESTATE MANAGER

Job Description

• REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION

• Oversee the daily operations of the estate.


• Manage a total staff of approximately 80 employees working in the estate office, the security department and the horticulture department. 


• Manage maintenance, repairs and renovations works within the estate.


• Serve as a liaison between the Home Owners Association and the workers.


• Assist Home Owners Association with the selection and supervision of contractors who are providing services in the estate.


• Work closely with homeowners to resolve any issues regarding the shared services provided to homeowners.


• Coordinate with ECG and Ghana Water to ensure uninterrupted utility supply into the estate. 


• Create and implement optimal practices for daily estate operations.


• Promote the estate using appropriate marketing channels.


• Spend time on the grounds of the estate monitoring staff and also allocate time to perform administrative duties in the office.


• Uphold all aspects of compliance and quality standards.


• Report on all estate activities and issues to the Executive Board of the Home Owners Association. 


• Work closely with the Estate Accountant on expenditures and budgets.

Required Skills or Experience

• University degree is preferred.


• Superior written and verbal communication skills.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.  Successful candidate must be composed and professional and must be able to build relationships with demanding homeowners, workers and contractors.


• Project management skills.


• Leadership skills, with the ability to listen to others.


• Experience in the real estate sector is required, familiarity with security protocols is a plus.
