A reputable international Engineering and Construction company is seeking for competent, self-motivated and qualified Environment Assessment and Quality Management System Officer for immediate employment. Applicant should be experienced and qualified middle-level position holder to provide the following full range job responsibilities and services to the company:




  •  Advice and assist the Chief Executive Officer and Project Department Heads on all environmental studies, compliance and related projects issues

  • Provide support in implementing and executing ISO 14001 environment Management System and related procedures.

  • Provide support in implementing and executing ISO 9001 Quality Management System and related procedures.

  • Execute the process of obtaining environmental permit approvals.

  • Implement and monitor environmental management plans.

  • Perform environmental incident investigations

  • Participate in the writing and review of environmental studies procedures, plans and work instructions.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and communication networks.

  • Engage and involve in the assessment process.

  • Respond to enquiries and help resolve customer concerns and issues.

  • Provide clear information and appropriate, accurate advice on current project as well as office planning matters.

  • Ensure quality assurance/control on all environmental studies reports issued by Third party contractors and ensure conformance to statutory guidelines and Company specifications

  • Maintain register of all environmental studies requirement and ensure validity of certificates/approvals

  • Provide guidance and support on EIA commitments to Project teams and impact mitigation monitoring with regulators

  • Ensure implementation of Energy Efficiency Management Systems in all implicated sites

  • Organize Environment Assessment and Quality Management System (EnAQMS) awareness training sessions for all relevant Project site staff

  • Conduct audits, pre-mobilization inspections and ensure the conformance of Third-party facilities to standard procedures

  • Participate in HSE Committee meetings and HSE Management System compliance inspections and audits of all facilities.

  • Any other duties that will be assigned by the CEO or his designated officer




Required Skills or Experience



  • BSc degree in environmental sciences / applied sciences / geosciences

  • 5 years relevant post qualification experience, of which 3 years should have been spent in engineering design and construction industry on environmental related duties

  • Power of persuasion is essential for interfacing with site, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders

  • Good report writing, oral communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong team player with networking ability

  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations

  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
