  • JOB TITLE: PRODUCT MANAGER

  • LOCATION: SPINTEX ROAD, ACCRA



 



ABOUT THE ROLE



The incumbent will devise strategies for selling his/ her assigned products. The incumbent keeps a close eye on his goals and ensures desired outcomes are met or exceeded within the set timeframe.



On a day- to day basis, the incumbent will build and maintain relationships with customers with the goal of achieving set targets. The incumbent will also be responsible for general quotation administration, including answering customer enquiries on phones, logging email enquiries, visiting clients etc.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Analyze and explore the market to identify new opportunities for the product (s) you manage

  • Develop and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel.

  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.

  • Develop and Maintain product knowledge to support clients effectively

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers

  • Build effective relationship with the clients to maintain good revenue increase for the organization

  • Coordinate with other teams like the marketing team to develop and implement plans for product marketing campaigns

  • Perform day-to-day sales administration

  • Must uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) and work in conformance with the roles as specified in the SOP

  • Achieve Product targets and vendor targets

  • Satisfy vendor requirements such as creating and submitting monthly reports amongst others

  • Manage inventory of the product(s) and avoid stock out for fast moving items.




Required Skills or Experience


OHSE Qualifications and Responsibilities




  1. Knowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures

  2. Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions

  3. Risk Assessment

  4. Hazard identification and reporting

  5. Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable



QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Ensure that the Department’s processes are delivering their intended outputs.

  • Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement to management

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences.

  • 3 years’ experience in sales
