Volunteer Opportunity: Regional Reporters
Are you passionate about journalism and committed to bringing local news to the forefront? The Metropolitan Multimedia Bureau in Accra, Ghana, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Regional Reporters. This is a unique volunteering opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local communities and contribute to the field of multimedia journalism.
Responsibilities
- News Gathering: Actively pursue and gather news stories within the assigned region.
- Interviews: Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, officials, and community members to collect relevant information.
- Research: Stay informed about regional issues, trends, and events to provide accurate and timely news coverage.
- Reporting: Produce compelling and well-researched news articles, features, and multimedia content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team and other reporters to ensure comprehensive coverage of regional news.
