We are the official distributor of LORENTZ and GRUNDFOS pumps in Ghana with Offices in Accra, Tamale, Wa, and Bolgatanga Job Description Call for Water Pump Technicians Service Partnership Proposal Are you a skilled water pump technician with a background in electrical or plumbing? Do you have experience installing domestic water pumps and possess plumbing or electrical certification (Part I)? If so, we want YOU to work with Pumptech on demand basis. We're looking for dedicated service agents based in Accra who are passionate about ensuring reliable access to clean water for households. Your role will involve installing, servicing, and repairing domestic water pumps, making a tangible difference in communities' lives. Contract Demands and Responsibilities Installation and Setup Properly install and set up water pumps according to manufacturer guidelines and client specifications. Ensure all components are correctly assembled and functioning optimally. Maintenance and Repair Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues that arise with pumps, including mechanical failures, electrical malfunctions, or performance issues. Perform necessary repairs and replacements of parts to restore pump functionality. Testing and Calibration Calibrate and test pumps to ensure they are functioning efficiently, and meeting required performance standards. Safety Compliance Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when working with water pump systems. Ensure proper handling of equipment and use of personal protective gear to prevent accidents or injuries. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed records of all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on water pump systems. Prepare reports documenting the status of pumps, including any issues encountered and actions taken. Client Communication Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on pump installations, maintenance, and repairs. Offer guidance and recommendations to clients on the proper use and care of water pump systems. Continuous Learning Stay updated on the latest technologies and advancements in water pump systems and related equipment. Participate in training sessions or workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills. Adherence to Schedule Manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, including scheduled installations, maintenance visits, and repairs. Communicate any scheduling conflicts or delays to supervisors or clients promptly. Quality Assurance Uphold high standards of quality in all work performed, ensuring that water pump systems meet or exceed client expectations. Conduct thorough inspections and tests to verify the reliability and efficiency of pump installations and repairs. Team Collaboration Collaborate with other technicians and team members to coordinate tasks and support overall project objectives.
