Description	Company Profile Centre for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (C-WASH) is a social enterprise in Ghana working to improve access to piped water supply in rural communities, small towns, and deprived urban settlements by implementing an innovative model of water service delivery that addresses the challenges of inadequate access, inadequate financing, and poor sustainability. C-WASH works in close collaboration with local communities (through Chiefs, Queen mothers, Assembly members, Unit Committee Conveners, and Key Opinion Leaders), the local private sector, and Municipal/District Assemblies. Job Description Project: WASH in Senior High Schools (WinSHS) Job Title: Project Officer Duty Station: Bolgatanga Job Status: Full-time Contract Duration: Up to 2 Years Salary: GHS General requirements C-WASH is looking for a highly motivated, committed, and results-driven graduate with background in Social Sciences, Sociology, Development Planning, Development Sutidies, and Water and Sanitation for an upcoming WASH in Senior High Schools Project. Females are particularly encouraged to apply. Ability to ride motorbike and speak the major local languages of the Upper East Region will be added advantage. Job Summary The successful candidate will work under the Project Manager, and with the Authorities, Staff, and Students of selected Senior High Schools to implement a highly participatory and sustainable water supply, sanitation, and hygiene project in collaboration with other key stakeholders such as the Municipal/District Education Office, Regional Education Office, Municipal/District Assemblies, and the community leaders. She/he will facilitate a smooth and impactful project implementation process, engaging closely with the schools and other stakeholders, organizing events, meetings, and training sessions, facilitating regular collection of monitoring data, and undertaking WASH Behavior Change activities primarily to stop open defecation and promote proper handwashing. Required Skills or Experience A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Sociology, Development Planning, Development Studies, or Water and Sanitation.
