Toldo is an IT service provider with innovation at the center of its activities. We are looking for individuals who share our passion about disruptive technologies to join us at our Accra office. The Application Developer will join a team of professionals with over 20 years of combined experience in IT, Telecom and ISP services.

Responsibilities

• Build and Develop new features for our exciting SaaS platform used by medium and large companies


• Maintain the current codebase and data stores


• Troubleshoot and solving production issues


• Optimize performance of code, databases, Cloud services and processes


• Own development projects and design Architectural Blueprints for each application

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification and experience

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Software Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred)


• 2+ years of experience developing web applications using modern JavaScript Frameworks


• 2+ PHP/Laravel backend development experience


• Advanced knowledge of Middleware Infrastructure related to Web Apps and App design in general


• Experience developing and deploying cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud


• Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 or above


• Experience developing applications for Health-related clients (EMR/EHR software) will be a huge plus

Skills

• Experience with Modern JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, Node.js)


• Experience developing scalable web applications with JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, ASP.NET MVC 5 or MVC Core 


• Experience with SOAP & REST API (Microservices)


• Experience with Bitbucket/Jira, Git/Azure DevOps or related tools


• Experience with cloud technology (Azure or AWS)


• Experience with SQL, MySQL (or other RDBMS)


• Object-oriented programming skills and a good understanding of data structures and database systems


• Self-starter (takes initiative) with critical thinking and analyses skills


• You have programming experience with Java (J2EE), Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Servlets, JDBC, Eclipse and JBoss web server


• Good spoken and written communication skills and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently


• Knowledge of latest technology in video game and simulator development
