We are seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to help with the organisation and management of tasks within the business.


 


Functions:




  • Provides support with regards to general office management.

  • Files and retrieves documents. Ensures that all new staff documents and information are properly documented and filed.

  • Coordinates training ensuring that material, equipment, and other resources needed for training are made available.

  • Coordinates recruitment and selection; supports shortlisting, interview and provides feedback.

  • Ensures that facilities (washrooms, kitchen & equipment, furniture, offices etc) are well maintained and in good condition at all times.

  • Organises all logistics (ID Cards, business cards, etc) needed by new employees.

  • Mans the front desk at the head office and manages correspondence between ASL and the public.

  • May takes minutes at meetings.

  • Performs other administrative support duties not explicitly mentioned above.





Required Skills or Experience


Education and experience Requirements:




  • A minimum of a Higher National Diploma in Secretaryship/ Management or a relevant field and some level of experience in a similar role.

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or its equivalent.

  • Must be a Male between the age of 21-25 years.



Knowledge and Skills:




  • Ability to maintain high accuracy levels and work quality standards

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Telephone skills

  • Ability to keep things in confidence and exhibit a high level of integrity

  • Resourceful and trainable

  • Understanding of business processes
