Job Description


IPA is seeking a professional photographer or company to collaborate with their project team on various

research projects in Ghana.



In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality photographs and videos that meet IPA’s

expectation. You will collaborate with various teams and project heads to conceptualize creative ideas

and bring them to life through exceptional photography. From capturing activities on the field and in the

office to documenting events and creating artistic imagery, you will wear many hats and play a vital role

in our visual storytelling.



Key Responsibilities




  • Consult with project heads and internal teams to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts.

  • Plan and execute photoshoots, managing logistics, props, lighting, and backgrounds.

  • Capture high-quality still images and videos using professional photography equipment and techniques.

  • Edit and process photos and videos using industry-standard software to enhance their quality and visual impact.

  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude during photoshoots.

  • Organize and maintain a digital archive of photographs and videos



 




Required Skills or Experience


Skill & Experience




  • Proven experience as a professional photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and style.

  • A keen eye for composition, lighting, and detail.

  • Proficiency in various photography techniques, including lighting setups, camera operation, and post-processing.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with projects and teams.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  • A creative and flexible mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.

  • Flexible and Adaptable with the ability to work in rural areas in and out of Accra.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Picsart, Snapseed, VSCO (or similar editing software) is a plus.
