Report To: General Manager, Operations

Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Business Manager who is business development oriented to lead and oversee the implementation of business projects and activities. The position holder is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals. The holder will as well be responsible to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture.

Business Manager responsibilities:

• Developing business plans and strategies to align with company forecasts and goals.


• Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of business goals.


• Organize and coordinate business operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity


• Manage relationship with all existing and potential stakeholders.


• Ensure adherence to legal rules and regulations.


• Estimate and establish cost parameters, budgets and potential return on business projects


• Provide weekly reports on all business activities to the General Manager.

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in business development and business management role.


• A Master’s degree in Business Administration or any business-related program is required.


• A professional certificate in any business-related program will be an added advantage.
