A reputable International NGO in water production and distribution that provides safe, affordable and sustainable drinking water and improved health and hygiene services for rural and peri-urban areas of Ghana, seeks results oriented and dynamic persons to fill the under listed position: Executive & Business Development Assistant




  • Location:       Accra

  • Reports To:  Country Director


 



Responsibilities




  • Provide professional and administrative support to the Country Director’s office

  • Maintaining records on all business development related activities.

  • Coordinate existing and potential funder meetings and record minutes.

  • Work with Business Development team in preparing documents and briefing notes.

  • Prepare itinerary for visiting Senior Executives including lodging and ground transportation arrangements.

  • Assist with spearheading special projects being handled by the Country Director.

  • Provide administrative support during conferences and routine meetings; including setting up teleconferences, preparation of meeting materials, rosters, etc.

  • Prepare and distribute handouts and presentation materials for all business development and meetings.

  • Manage the Country Director’s schedule and activities.

  • Schedule meetings for senior management and ensure notice goes out to all attendees and resolve diary clashes




Required Skills or Experience




  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degree a plus.

  • Minimum years of experience as an executive assistant to a senior executive

  • Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills is a must, especially PowerPoint.

  • Ability to effectively and accurately work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities

  • Ability to adhere to sensitive deadlines and appreciation for  professional confidentiality

  • Must be very flexible, available to travel outside Accra  and open for weekend contact and light duties when necessary
