Vacancy: Accountant Taxes and Treasury (6-month Temp)

Job Description

• Taxes Management: return and filing at time -Withholding tax, income tax, VAT , labor taxes  .


• Treasury: weekly cash flow and daily & weekly payment monitoring 


• Key contact for any tax or treasury request 


• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation of all taxes and treasury accounts .


• Key contact for any add hoc questions and resolutions re taxes and treasury 


• Key partner of Finance Supervisor 


• Responsibility to maintain archiving in an excellent organization 


• Month-end and year-end preparation 


• Meeting dead line 

Required Skills or Experience

• Experience within an Accounting environment


• Accounting Degree or HND


• Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel 


• Proficient with ERP system, preferably Oracle


• Experience of major computer system within, particularly accounts payable


• Balancing of accounts payable control accounts


• Good English language skills (verbally and written)


• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision


• Ability to keep information confidential 


• Ability to organise and priorities day to day workload


• Ability to interact at all levels with sensitivity to cultural differences 


• Ability to function as an effective team member


• Willingness to work extended hours


• Ability to adapt as the organization evolves
