Job Description

The Ghana Institute of Journalism invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following academic (multiple) position; Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs).

Required Skills or Experience

  • Must hold at least a master's degree from a recognized tertiary institution.

  • Must have at least seven (7) years relevant post qualification experience in a similar position in a higher educational institution. Senior Assistant Registrars with appreciable experience in the provision of academic and administrative support services in a higher educational institution are eligible to apply.

  • Must have strong administrative and managerial competence.

  • Must have excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must have high sense of integrity.

  • Must be able to handle multiple duties and produce results.

  • Must have very good computer skills.
