Job Description
- Provide quality laboratory services to clients in the health facility in accordance with the standards of Allied Health Professions Council and standard operating procedures as set by the hospital.
- Contributes to planning and development of activities for improvement in laboratory diagnostic services
- Supervise and ensure the provision of accurate laboratory reports within acceptable turnaround times.
- Oversee the monitoring of turnaround times and management of internal and external quality control measures.
- Supervise the delivery of laboratory tests to ensure efficient and quality delivery of lab services
- Undertake technical validation and reproducibility test of laboratory instrumental analysis to ensure accuracy and precision as specified by laboratory protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to preventive maintenance schedules of all laboratory instruments at all times
- Manage quality control failures or loss of performance of laboratory instruments or methods and make referrals when indicated
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience on same role
