Job Description



The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the management of all bar/beverage operations of the Hotel.



Job Responsibilites:




  • Oversee the activities and operation of Bar/Restaurant staff.

  • Assist with the design and management of drinks/cocktail and beverage menu.

  • Keep and manage records of all inventory and stock par levels.

  • Ensure that the agreed par level stock is maintained.

  • Ensure all bar/restaurant staff carry out standardized mode of service.

  • Ensure that health and safety measures are adhere to.

  • Train and support unit/departmental staff to meet the standards of the Hotel.

  • Ensure customers have a great bar/restaurant experience.

  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and order at the bar/restaurant, and other food and beverage outlets.

  • Assist with buffet settings and other events held by the Hotel, including outside-catering events.

  • Ensure that the bar/restaurant is clean and ready for use at all times.




Required Skills or Experience



QUALIFICATIONS




  • Degree in  Hotel Management or any related field.

  • At least 3 years’ experience in required field or similar.


SKILLS




  • Leadership skills

  • Communication skills

  • Financial skills (basic)

  • Time Management skills


REQUIREMENTS




  • Flexibility to work on shifts, night hours, weekends and holidays.

  • In-depth knowledge of beverages.
