Job Description



Manage Business relations




  • Work closely with business clients/partners to develop new products and services.

  • Identify new business streams within the industry

  • Monitor and track business partners performance


Acquisition of new customers




  • Prospecting and identifying potential partners for new business opportunities

  • Facilitating the set-up and on-boarding of new partners

  • Presenting and explaining product features and functionalities

  • Effectively negotiating and managing partners to ensure profitability


 



Business Development




  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients

  • Working closely with the Development team to develop new products and upgrade existing product and features

  • Drive usage of EP proprietary apps


Performance and Reporting




  • Prepare periodic report on the performance of Partners and merchants to inform decision making

  • Effectively monitor merchants and Partner revenue streams and identifying clear action points for tracking and performance improvement interventions


Management of existing clients




  • Serve as the main point of contact for escalation of Partner and Merchants issues

  • Effectively negotiating and managing partners to ensure profitability

  • Cross-selling of other EP solutions/services to Partners and merchants to increase their value to EP

  • Supporting merchant activities (including joint marketing activities) to drive growth and increase revenues


Service Delivery and after sales support




  • Liaise with Product team and other relevant teams to ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely manner

  • Ensuring that all partner related issues/complaints are resolved per SLA

  • Ensure that clients receive requested products and services in a timely manner

  • Ensure that all existing and new partners have valid and active contracts

  • Work with the Finance team to ensure prompt payments to Telcos and partners in order to reduce our liabilities

  • Implementation of cost savings/efficiencies in our business with Telco and Partners


Other Duties




  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager and Management which intends to grow revenue, provide value to partners and improve business operations




Required Skills or Experience




TECHNICAL (State key job knowledge/skills required necessary for your role)




  • Technical understanding of Mobile Money, Bank Operations and Digital payment ecosystem

  • Understanding of key project management concepts and application

  • Ability to design process flow diagrams for products and services

  • Effectively communicate complex plans, strategies and ideas in simple and easy language

  • Ability to prospect and convert meaningful leads into closed deals

  • Knowledge and experience in PowerPoint presentations

  • Understanding of excel and ability to manipulate and derive meaning from large data volumes
