Job Description




  • Create and manage various Social Media Platforms

  • Create timely and engaging social media content optimized for specific platforms and intended audiences

  • Analyze and report on stakeholder engagements social media platforms on a weekly basis for assessments

  • Support the Communication Unit with Communications tasks




Required Skills or Experience




  • A minimum of University Degree in Communications, social science, journalism or related field from a recognized tertiary institution.

  • A minimum of One (1) year relevant experience in public relations, communications, advocacy or social media communication, marketing and management

  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and a good understanding of at least one of the Ghanaian languages spoken along the coastal areas.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and use of multi-media communications.

  • Working knowledge of social media campaign

  • Ability to work and deliver under tight timelines

  • Strategic content creation

  • Experience with print, electronic and broadcast media relations.

  • Familiarity with USAID project communication requirements.

  • Knowledge or experience working with the Fisheries sector, a plus.
