Vacancy: Social Media Marketing Executive

Job Description

The successful candidate will manage all the social media channels of the company. He/She will be responsible for contributing to the Social Media Strategy and working to provide content for social media campaigns.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Contribute and influence the direction of social media strategy


2. Design and execute marketing campaigns


3. Analyse and report on the search performance


4. Oversees all company social media accounts management


5. Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages


6. Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns


7. Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement


8. Works with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages


9. Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces

Required Skills or Experience

1. HND/Degree in marketing or Social Media


2. Creative design skill will be an advantage


3. Extensive knowledge within the Social Media platforms


4. Strong editorial, advertising, creative and content creative skills


5. Ability to work flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the business


6. Ability to continually improve and enhance the company’s social media output


7. The ability to work as part of a talented team or on own initiative


8. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, pressured environment


9. A creative and energetic personality


10. Strong verbal and written communication skills
