iDE Ghana, an international Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the Agriculture and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sectors is recruiting a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER.




  • DEPARTMENT Program

  • REPORTS TO Chief Sales Officer

  • JOB LOCATION Techiman

  • DURATION OF CONTRACT 3 months

  • TYPE OF CONTRACT Fixed term (contract for service)

  • AREAS OF OPERATION Techiman, Kintampo, Offinso, Akumadan and Jema

  • SERVICE FEE GHS 3,376.89 (monthly base service fees)



 



GENERAL DEFINITION OF JOB ROLE

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is part of the salesforce for the RuSHiNG Sanitation Program. The RSM plays a key role in supporting the CSO to achieve the target of reaching 300,000 people by 2022 throughout the eight operational regions. The RSM is directly responsible for the supervision of a team of District Sales Managers in the day to day management of Sales Agents within their respective territories.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The RSM reports directly to the CSO and has District Sales Managers as direct report.



KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Sales agents training and coaching.

  • Sales agents recruitment.

  • Sales activations.

  • Sales data entry and record keeping.

  • Door to door sales.

  • Sales forecasting.

  • Conduct market research.

  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence.

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.




Required Skills or Experience



  • HND or degree in sales or marketing.

  • Three (3) years work experience in a similar role.

  • Understanding and speaking the local language is a must.

  • Applicant must have completed their national service.

  • Applicant should be based at Techiman.

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process.

  • Strong business sense.

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
