Vacancy: Credit Officer

Job Description

We are looking to add a competent individual to work on their team. This individual will be responsible for marketing and sales of our products and services. His/her mandate will be to increase the client base of the company. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and has intermediate financial literacy skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of Company Software


• Presenting and discussing various product options based on assessments of prospective client lifestyles, needs, and goals


• Marketing new sales and special events


• Increasing personal knowledge of products, and sales techniques through continuous training and development


• Strategically growing our client database by identifying credible clients within the market


• Initiate a steady volume calls to clients to identify and connect with key clients


• Tracking account information and maintaining relevant records for submission weekly and monthly


• Ensuring that all client repayments are made in a timely manner


• Create and maintain detailed client records


• Handle highly confidential documents with extreme care.

Required Skills or Experience

• Previous Customer Service, Sales, or Marketing Experience


• Experience in a Financial or Accounting role considered an asset


• University Degree or diploma (Marketing, Accounting or Finance, MBA preferable)


• Interest in the Financial Industry


• This is a self-starter self-motivated position


• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels


• Exceptional communication skills: ability to capture many incredible features of the product and present them clearly to the client


• Exceptional organizational ability


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications considered an asset


• Computer proficiency considered an asset


• Experience performing sales and making phone calls is an asset


• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including Saturday considered an asset
