A leading Private Security company is seeking to recruit Director of Finance to manage its Finance Function in Ghana.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES




  • Oversee all company accounts and investments.

  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts.

  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal and external reports.

  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accounts officers.

  • Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.

  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing to clients.

  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.

  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.

  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.

  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.

  • Follow up with clients for prompt payment.

  • Serve as liaison officer for external stakeholders, including banks, GRA and SSNIT.

  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to identify cost reduction opportunities.

  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.

  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.

  • Report to the Director General with timely and accurate financial information.

  • Assist the Director General in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.




Required Skills or Experience



  • A good second degree in Finance/Accounting.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICA/CIMA).

  • Ten (10) years working experience in a similar position/environment.

  • Analytical thinking and research skills.

  • Considerable initiative and drive.

  • Socially engaged, easy communicator, convincing and representative attitude.

  • Skilful in project planning and able to prioritize projects/tasks.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint mandatory).
