Job Description

HHS  seeks to employ a well-organized, dynamic, and entrepreneurial individual who loves children and cares for their wellbeing, as full time Teacher in its lower primary school.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver curriculum in line with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ghana Education Service guidelines as well as the Montessori philosophy


• Create positive learning environments and foster resources based on child-directed learning


• Put in place strategies that guide positive behavior in the pupils


• Foster open communication with pupils, parents, teachers and school management


• Ensure a safe, clean and hygienic learning environment


• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by Management towards the achievement of overall goals

Required Skills or Experience

• An approved Tertiary level teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor of Education  


• At least 3 years teaching experience after graduation

Qualifications and experience:

• At least 3 years teaching experience after graduation


• Very strong in the teaching of Maths, English and Integrated Science at primary school level


• Ability to teach Ghanaian languages (Twi and/or Ga)


• Proficiency working with Excel spreadsheets and Word documents will be an advantage


• Experience working in a Montessori school or childcare setting will be an advantage


• Team oriented
