JOB TITLE:            Production Supervisor



Position Summary:




  • Supervises shop employees in a manufacturing:  plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.



  • Main Responsibilities:

    • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations

    • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production such as Quality inspectors, machine operators, and Fillers operators.

    • Plan and achieve the target production volumes for the Line by properly planning the availability for syrup, ensure movement of empties and organize optimum manpower required.

    • Ensure the General House Keeping of the plant and empties area are clean at all times.




 



 



ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:



 



BSC Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering or a related field and at least four (4) years working experience in similar responsibilities.



 



 



COMPETENCES /SKILLS



 




  • Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Process.


Knowledge in SOP Implementation.




Job Description



Core purpose



Participate in the design, and ensure the successful execution of the strategy for the Geology section and to ensure alignment with the organization’s overall strategy. Also ensure continued growth of the geology function, to maximize operational efficiencies and profitability, and to cultivate exceptional stakeholder and employee satisfaction.



Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties:




  • Ensure relevant Safety, Mining and other statutory Codes and Regulations remain in full compliance at every work place.

  • Practice and promote Company environmental, health, safety and operational policies and procedures.

  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Programme.

  • Execute intermediate and long-term strategies that support growth of Geology; ensures strategies are concretely linked to the organization’s overall strategy.

  • Lead execution of strategies in geology to enhance current geology practices and performance.

  • Develop systems & measures that appropriately assess geology performance and reviews progress to ensure achievement of targets.

  • Manage the human, financial, and operational resources of the geology function.

  • Formulate the annual operating and capital budgets for geology.

  • Act as a change agent and project sponsor for key initiatives; model organizational values, set the cultural tone, and prioritize business goals.

  • Set performance targets and measures, monitor and manage the overall performance of the function and direct reports.

  • Build the capabilities of the team to enhance the geology function’s ability to achieve financial and operating strategy; identifies succession role requirements and high potential talent and actively develops key talent.

  • Responsible for the calculation of ore reserves, definition of geological structures, development and execution of mine exploration programs and the evaluation of exploration results.

  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by the Technical Services Manager.




Required Skills or Experience




  • BSc or an MSc in Geology
