Position Summary

A reputable automotive company is in search of an experienced Human Resource Manager on part-time basis. The candidate is expected to manage the routine functions of the Human Resource department including hiring, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices.



Responsibilities

The  Human Resource Manager will perform the following duties:




  • Manage talent acquisition comprising advertising for opened positions, assessing and selecting qualified candidates.

  • Prepare and track renewals of employment contracts.

  • Train and prepare new employees for their role.

  • Collaborate with Deputy Finance Manager to administer monthly payroll.

  • Manage leave, health insurance and other benefits for employees.

  • Collaborate with departmental heads to set performance goals for employees and periodically appraise them.

  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations and terminations.

  • Manage immigration processes.

  • Maintain compliance with Ghanaian labour laws and regulations.




Required Skills or Experience


Required qualifications, skills and experience:




  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource is required. A post graduate degree or professional certification is a plus.

  • Significant experience in a similar role at a managerial level.

  • Knowledgeable in HRIS.

  • Knowledgeable in the Ghanaian labour laws.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
